What A Wonderful Selection of Pals Ready For Homes!

Cha Cha the dancing therapy dog!

(Who could use some physical therapy herself)

This unique girl rolled into the life of Laura Bradshaw of Healing HEART Sanctuary almost a year ago - well, she didn't roll back then, but she has since learned how to cruise around in her wheelchair like a pro.

At first, Laura wasn't so sure Cha Cha would ever recover from all the bad things that had happened to her already. After being chained up for two years, ignored and abused, then hit by a car (paralyzing her back legs), Cha Cha didn't seem to want to live at all.

Over time and with care and therapy, however, it's clear that Cha Cha has decided to give life a chance again!

She now plays and barks with glee at Laura's horse and has blossomed into a sweet and loving little girl. She has been a therapy dog at a home for the elderly in town, where she amazes everyone with how respectful and excited she is to see them all. She has also helped out around Laura's sanctuary with the at-risk teens that come to visit.

She is great with any animal, though she loves to cruise in her wheelchair after cats if they’ll run. She does not harm them (she lives with two).

Cha Cha has made as much progress in a sanctuary environment as she can, and now is truly ready to be adopted into a loving home that will continue to help her grow both emotionally and physically. Cha Cha's new family has to be prepared to devote a lot of time and attention to her. Cha Cha longs to call someone her own and to feel like she has a purpose in this life.

If you are willing to be loved more than you ever have been before, to be needed (she still needs some physical help) and are looking for a constant companion who likes to hike and cuddle - Cha Cha is the perfect dog for you!

For more information, please call Healing HEART Sanctuary at and ask for Cha Cha (or Laura!).

Duke needs you, he is living in filth.

He is allowed only within one foot of the opening of the sliding door to be greeted by any human hands. He needs and deserves love and at minimum, must be placed in foster while we look
for a loving home.

He is a sweet lab mix boy, young, neutered, loves kids, seems great with his food. He, no doubt, will be in some shock and have a few issues to work through but mainly he just wants to be near people, treated with some diginity and some love.

If you can help sweet Duke out, let us know and if you are not yet a on-file foster or adopter, we have a short application to fill out. Trust us, he is worth it..and then some! For adoption, small fee toward the non-profit fund to help the animals. Duke is located near Tacoma.
