Another Market Weekend 7/1/06

It was an interesting weekend. Issaquah market was very slow and Ballard was very busy. It was too entirely different days but for one common element. All dogs are great and getting to speak with their owners and meeting them is the best part.

I met Ambrosia, Amber to her friends. She was so soft and loved Uneek Treats. She is such a sweet girl. Amber let me pet her for a long time and she even came behind the table and sat down. We would have kept her there if her parents would let her.

Next Katie came by and what a cool girl. She is full of curious spunk. I enjoyed taking her pictures. She gave me plenty of time by laying down. Seems I took too long as Katie was taken by a yawn.

Then when I thought the day could not get any better, my niece Ciarra, her cousin Lauren and Ciarra's dog Miley came by. Miley is just 15 weeks old, so she is too young for treats but Ciarra and Lauren are plenty old to have some and have some they did. They ate my right out of samples! It was really fun to have them come by and Miley broke the hearts of everyone who came by.

I made it into Ballard again and what a great day that was. We were busy from before the market officially opened to well after it closed. Ballard was hopping Sunday. What a day for Uneek Treats. It was our best market ever! I just love Ballard. The folks that come are mostly from right in the area and they look forward to being able to walk down and around, getting their fresh fruits, veggies, hand crafted gifts and of course Uneek Treats!

Our first visit came from Cassey. Cascade is her full name and she is a gorgeous Border Collie mix. She was a big fan of our treats, so we had to take a picture of her for the blog. She was perfect in her seeming disinterest from all the attention. She did such a good pose. Once we were done, her tail went right back to wagging furiously. Seems she is used to having her picture taken and all the fuss about her cuteness.

Next came Olive. What a looker. She got so much attention and even after all that, all she could think about were treats. She had sample after sample and so she got to pick out her favorite flavor. What a doll and because she was so excited we had to take a bunch of shots to get one where she wasn't blurry.

Dad and I are just hanging, minding our table and who should stop buy for some water and samples but Zoe and Skeeter. Skeeter has been with the family for 7 years and was indifferent to others until Zoe came along about two months ago. Zoe with her outgoing personality, showed Skeeter exactly how to hang with the group. Now Skeeter is just as outgoing and how cool are they both! Especially being rescues. They look so good in their new collars and harnesses from Bark.

Enza is a Doberman who is just an outstanding girl. With her best friend and Mom and Dad, Enza got to come out and enjoy the market. She is so beautiful and loved Uneek Treats too. Enza enjoyed each flavor and took Pizza Crust home. I could not resist having a picture and could we have captured a better shot? I think not. The quintiscenial boy and his dog. It fills my heart and with each family that comes by, I know that these guys and gals have won the doggy lottery. As have the families! Dog is truly mans best friend!

As always, thank you for your support. Really, what a wonderful day. Dog after dog and owner after owner. There is no better way to spend the day. It is our pleasure to be able to share what, we at Uneek, believe is so important. Good nutrition for your best friend! Thank you all.
